"The Learning Styles or The Gifts of The Spirit" .The 4 methods of perception & how each method has a different learning style and way of communicating. For us to communicate to another in their style is fundamental for clear communication and understanding. Each one of us has all four of these perceptive qualities, but it is our unique combination of them that gives us a unique way of dealing with life. |

A brief look at the four perceptions.
Part One: Perception of Knowing:
When in balance this Perception make good executives because they are good at delegating to others and keeping in touch with the big picture. This Perception may know how, may not always know how it knows. doubt is this qualities downfall.
Out-of-balance this Perception wants to know everything that is going on, and like to be in control.
They can daydreams about the future. They can be lazy, over indulgent, untidy and judgmental.
This Perceptions’ opposite is the Perception of Seeing and if they don’t understand each other they can have troubles with communication and living together.
Part Two: Perception of Seeing:
When in balance this Perception will organise & rationalise through images. They can have a photographic mind. They are good organisers and like everything in its place. This Perception brings beauty & co-ordination to the environment
Out-of-balance this Perception is a perfectionist that judges, nit-picks, has an out-of-sight, out-of-mind attitude, doesn’t listen, and can do things to bring attention to themselves. This Perceptions’ opposite is the Perception of Knowing, and if they don’t understand one other they can have troubles communicating and living together.
Part Three: Perception of Hearing:
When in balance this Perception is a good leader and manager. They like fairness and honesty, they can be very straight up in their communication & may communicate with few words. This Perception comes to decisions easily but must work with the facts.
Out-of-Balance this Perception can be blunt, aggressive, demanding and over-sensitive to sound. The opposite of this Perception is the Perception of Feeling and if they don’t understand each other they can easily damage and annoy each other.
Part Four: Perception of Feeling:
When in balance this Perception is receptive to the universal flow and may be the first to sense opportunities or changes. This perception is sensitive to the environment, is enthusiastic, and prefers to work with others This perception needs detail and communicates lots of details when telling a story.
Out-of-Balance this Perception can get lost in the details, pick up on others feelings, thinking they are theirs, feel sorry for themselves, will manipulate & create drama for attention, and can be prone to depression. This perception’s opposite is the Perception of Hearing and if the two don’t understand each other they can drive each other mad with endless chatter from one & the need for silence from the other.
Part Five: Interaction of the Four Perception:
Once we understand the four perceptions we now need to be able to know how to communicate to each other effectively, how to change our approach to meet another's way of perception and how to master working with our opposite.
This is the most effective method of communication and reaching another so they understand you.
