The Acupressure Point Therapy’s aim is to prevent illness by stimulating the body’s natural powers of recuperation, eliminating fatigue producing elements, and promoting general good health..
Acupressure helps the energy to flow through the body freely and removes energy blockages. Acupressure Points are energy points.
The hands and fingers of the therapist become sensitive enough to feel abnormalities in the skin and muscles., on contact and thus to pinpoint irregularities and determine at once what basic treatment to employ.
There are no side effects, since the points to be treated, with pressure , and a certain length of application is gauged according to the goal. The treatment has no real unpleasantness and produces no such side effects .Regular Acupressure point therapy helps detect bodily irregularities and prevent the accumulation of fatigue and the occurrence of illness.
In this module, you will learn how to work with the acupressure points within your bodywork therapy and in a clothed everyday life situation.

Do you know anyone like these people?
They are everywhere on every job. The thing that all these people have in common, other than chronic pain, is that they aren’t getting the help they need. Its not that they haven't looked. They’ve gone the rounds. They have tried chiropractic, acupuncture, magnets, pain therapy and medicine and dutifully do there stretching exercises. Sometimes they feel better for a while, but the pain always comes back. Nothing really seems to get to the bottom of the problem. They are often told that surgery is only solution, but they are also told there is no guarantee of success. They wonder does anyone really know about pain.
There is growing evidence that most of our common aches and pains and many other puzzling physical complaints are actually caused by trigger points or small contraction knots in the muscle of the body..
Trigger points are known to cause headaches, neck and jaw pain, lower back pain, Shoulder and back pain, the symptoms of carpal tunnel, syndrome, and many kinds of joint pain mistakenly ascribed to arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, or ligament injury. Trigger point congestion cause problems as diverse as earaches,
dizziness, nausea, heartburn, false heart pain, heart arrhythmia, tennis elbow, and genital pain.
They can also cause colic in babies and bed wetting in older children and may be the contributing cause of scoliosis. They are the cause of sinus pain and congestion, they play a part in chronic fatigue and lowered resistance to infection, and because trigger points can be responsible for long term pain and disability that seem to have no means of relief, they can cause depression.
Trigger points can send pain to another part of the body. Most conventional treatment of pain is based on the assumption that the cause of pain will be found at the site of the pain.
Trigger point therapy ihas helped some people avoid: spinal fusion, knee operations, carpal tunnel operations, hip replacements, arthritis, tennis elbow, helped sore feet, sore toes, neck pain, sore throat, stitch in the side that comes from running too hard, sore legs, painful ankles stiffness and joint pain, swollen knuckles and wrists, displaced vertebrae, bladder and menopausal problems.
Trigger Points can also be found in Myofascial pain.

Certificate in Body/Mind Psychology:
Part One: Psychosomatic Therapy
This is the first part of Emotional Anatomy Psychosomatic attitudes and behavior grow into our psychological belief structure and the expression of those beliefs.
You will learn the art of perceiving those beliefs and learn to hear the attitudes that create problems within the body.
The body manifests according to our thoughts “We are what we think, not what we think we are”
The Psychosomatic beliefs affect our Chakra or Glandular System The chakras, or glandular centres, are channels for specific types of energy for the physical body. They give us understanding of our emotional / spiritual anatomy.
The constructive creative energy of each centre that gives us a sparkle in our eye and a smile on our face and feeling good inside. Then the destructive blocked energy that takes that sparkle away so we no longer feel happy.
The 7 main chakras receive and radiate their own level of consciousness or sensation of awareness of the energy into the growing outer sheath.
Each chakra is situated in a particular part of the body for the specific purpose of the function of that area of the body, impressing and expressing that particular function.
While the Chakra itself lies in the etheric body its vibrations flow through a stem that enters the physical body and connects into the spinal column at specific points where there are nerve plexus or ganglia that translate the vibrations received in the area into physically felt nerve responses.
Therefore the rate and quality of the Chakra function directly effects and show, a corresponding response of growth in that area of the body. When the Inner Core Energy is strong, the Outer Sheath is firm, supple & balanced with appropriate tissue growth and muscle tone for the particular area, with an adequate structural support system.
When the Inner Core Energy is weak, the outer sheath response is thin fragile, rigid, spineless, or overdeveloped with hard muscle or armored by fatty, flabby insensitive tissue to compensate for, or to protect weakness. The Chakra of that particular area is out of balance either cutting down its sensitivity as a protection or over-sensitive and therefore creating an amour for the same reason.
12 weeks part time 2 hours per week.
Part Two: Body Mind Communication & Postural Analysis
When we are not at optimal health it shows in the way we stand, walk, talk, think & feel. This affects our muscle tone, mobility of joints and suppleness of the soft tissues. The issues surrounding how the body came to this state are interwoven, multilayered and subtle. Although we are marvelous, even miraculous, we can
easily get out of condition & remain unwell for extended periods.
Body Mind Communication is a corrective analysis of the physical, mental, emotional & energetic bodies.
What we think we know constitute our ‘belief systems.’ And although we may hold onto them as a steadfast anchor, they may, psychosomatically, breed disease and distress.
Body Mind Communication, gets to the root cause of these issues. The answers lie within us, concealed in our Subconscious Mind.
Some Subconscious Dysfunctions to consider:
All forms of Physical Pain, Excess Weight, Lethargy, Lack of Self Confidence, Depression, Addictions & Dependencies, Fearfulness, Anxiety, Infertility, Impotence, Incontinence, Constipation, Eczema, Asthma, Skin Problems, Loss of Memory, Mental Tiredness, Eye Problems.
By understanding & dissolving the causes, the symptoms are released.

Part Three: Body Psychology,Emotional Spiritual Anatomy
This Body Psychology has its understanding based in Sacred Geometry .The Flower of Life is the geometrical form from which everything is born.. It is the shape of all creation., the blueprint of the Plan of God. Emerging from the Flower of Life comes the Tree of Life.
The Tree of Life is the universal mechanism of the Plan of God. The relationship of the Tree of Life to the human being can be seen in the flower of life.
The bodies energetic system has 14 energy triangles, 10 major energy transmitters and 22 paths that carry the energies around the body, each transmitter and path carries a different vibratory energy and
Psychology.
Understanding these energy patterns enables the practitioner to better pinpoint the emotional reaction or the root cause of physical, emotional and mental pain stored in the body. These energy triangles may be likened to a map of the psychology that forms the structure of the body. A therapist can help you the client to unfold your world of causes, so that the effect, the result of the therapy being received is more permanent.

14 weeks part time 2 hours per week
Part Four: Integration of the Body Mind & Partial Analysis
Partial analysis enables you to do an appraisal ‘on-the-spot.’ Within a few minutes bringing awareness to the person on how they are creating the pain they are experiencing, bringing consciousness to the unconscious patterns enables them to change any physical, mental or emotional habits that are causing them problems within the Body Mind.
Integration of the Body Mind: Being able to read the body mind in the face.. The face can help us to understand the person clearly. Their life’s experience and true expression is imprinted in the face.
